Why Savvy and Sixty

My son's girlfriend just invited me to a gathering of blogger's and their mothers hosted by Avon She is a successful blogger founding The Budgetbabe and the incentive for me to try my hand at writing. So here I am , letting you peek at the fun of being sixty.

The party by Avon featured a visit with the ageless Jacqueline Bisset. Persistencee is the key to her beauty the actress told the group. She told the group how she exercises every day, rain or shine and avoids cosmetic surgery in favor of a diligrent skin regime. She is the Avon spokesperson for Anew Platinum skincare line which targets women over the age of 60.

"I love that the cream is for women over the age of 60, I think it's thrilling that we're being considered in a different way. A lot of friends my age say they feel invisible -- and I can relate to that," said Bisset, at the launch event held at New York City's A Voce.

Jacqueline Bisset went on to talk about having the right attitude and outlook keeps you young, in other words, beauty shines from the inside.and works better than any skin product alone

"I eat 90% vegetarian, and about 10% animal protein. The most significant change is that I cut out the white flour, white sugar and butter seasonings when I was 40 -- even the white custard that I loved," Bisset stated.

Jacqueline's common sense approach to beauty made an impression on this sixty year old and the Anew Platinum was a welcome addition to my beauty routine. The serum definitely reduced lines and made my skin much more vibrant and younger looking.
