Celebrity Wednesday with "Twiggy" Lawson

Remember Twiggy, who doesn't, that super skinny model that made the headlines when we were young. And doesn't she look great!!

A bit of updating .. .

Although Twiggy officially retired from modeling in 1970 when she was cast in 'The Boy Friend' she has been involved in various modeling assignments, highlights include posing with David Bowie to create the classic shot that became the cover of his Pin Ups album. Since 2005, Twiggy has acted as the face of Marks And Spencer in their successful advertising campaigns.

THE 60s model still rules supreme. She says: "A trip to the hairdresser can be so transforming, not only for your mood but for its ability to add elegance.

For years there's been an unwritten rule that you shouldn't have long hair when you get past a certain age. Poppycock!"

Age: 62
Sixties supermodel Twiggy is a fan of YSL's Touche Eclat. "I stock up at the airport - it's one of my make-up staples, and in photographs it's great because it reflects the light. When we're younger, dark circles can look cute and mysterious, but you can't get away with it post-40." Once you've covered the dark circles, try a slick of eyeliner to enhance the eye area. "To make eyes look big and bright, swap your black kohl liner flick for soft pink or beige," suggests international make-up artist Alexsandra Byrne.
