Eek, What Can I Do With My Hair?

What can I do with my hair.

It seems like aging hair is a big challenge for many. Mine reacts instantly to stress
becoming thin and dull. Evidentally, in your 60’s each strand has a finer outer cuticle layer which means it is more fragile and needs to be treated more gently. I’ve found that ensuring a diet rich in biotin—from such sources as green peas, oats, walnuts, brewers yeast, brown rice and sunflower seeds helps.
Also, a volumizing shampoo will make your hair look fuller. John Frieda’s root awakening shampoo works well. It says it improves hair health with natural eucalyptus—a strength restoring shampoo. It is for breakage prone hair. It has made an amazing difference in my hair, giving it a fuller appearance.
Another hair trick is using an at home glaze once a month. Healthy Sexy Hair Reinvent Top Coat makes a one that you work into your hair, if it is straight, leaving it on for five minutes and rinsing. If you have curly hair, the hair needs to be wet and conditioned before use.
On days when you don’t need to wash your hair, a root lifting spray works well. Spray at roots and blow dry the way you would if you just washed your hair.
A chin length hair cut will keep your hair manageable and chic. Coloring can help you to feel young and vibrant and can positively change the texture of your hair.
Experiment, have fun and enjoy—be savvy at 60
