Scarves for Spring

My daughter in law just gave me a beautiful scarf for spring ang it made me think how easily a scarf works for every size and budget as an accessory. Scarves can be tied around your neck to compliment an outfit. A scarf can be held by a decorative pin or tied in one of several shapes. A scarf can be of any fabric and print and can cover a multitude of sins with flare. Connect the ends and double wrap it as a collar or necklace. Fold it in half lengthwise and pull it through the loop or just let it hang gracefully.
And as a neck accessory isn’t the only way to enjoy a scarf. Use it for a hair accessory as a headband, bandana or ponytail wrap.
As a headband, fold the fabric lengthwise and wrap the top of your head and tie the ends at the back of your neck. Wrap a scarf around your ponytail as a colorful hair accessory, experiment and knot it a few times. Use a scarf as a belt, a shawl or a bathing suit cover up as a skirt.
Wear a scarf in your own way—an attractive scarf can add style to any outfit from casual jeans and a t-shirt to the stylish evening dress.
Enjoy!!
